Snow and Salt: A Recipe For Disaster

This time of year it is extremely important to take care of your vehicle. We all wonder why vehicles that are less than ten years old have rust on them. The answer is very simple; people do not take care of their vehicles properly. Cheap brakes and car washes are partly to blame but even good brakes do this also. Brakes give off dust containing metal which sticks to your car or truck. The combination of water or snow turns that metal to rust. The longer is sits, the worse the rust becomes. Surface rust can be removed but once it penetrates the surface, all hope is lost. To prevent this, you either have to remove the surface rust yourself or let us handle the job. We are happy to assist you with information on how to do this. Otherwise, usually for less than $55 we can remove surface rust (brake dust), tar, other road debris, and hand wash your vehicle. Whether you do it yourself or have us do it, it still needs to be done. Resale value on your car will be greater and if you plan on keeping your car or truck for awhile, you can avoid greater expenses in the future.
